Three men attending a music festival in Saudi Arabia
were deported for allegedly being too handsome.
According to reports, the young men, who are citizens of the United Arab Emirates, traveled to the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh for an annual culture festival.
However upon arrival, the religious police evicted the men for fear female visitors could fall for them. Below is what Saudi news website Elaph said about the incident:
“A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them,” the news service said, adding that the festival’s management took urgent measures to deport the three to Abu Dhabi.
