A man raped several women after threatening them
with a knife, according to reports in the news media.
Police said they arrested a lawyer in connection with a sexual assault in Greenwood, Seattle, Washington, who is the same man accused of raping a masseuse in Bellevue Seattle, Washington.
Police arrested the 47-year-old, Danford Grant, just after 9:30 pm near Carnation Massage Clinic on NW 85th Street.
A clinic employee said the suspect was a regular customer who had previously sexually assaulted an employee at knifepoint. When the man returned to the business Monday night, the employees called police.
The suspect ran away on foot once he realized that employees called police, but police officers caught him a little later. He was arrested and booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of two counts of rape.
According to Carla Iafrate of the Bellevue Police Department, the lawyer is also suspected in a violation within a Bellevue massage parlor. In that case, the victim said a man came and raped her at knifepoint.
