Imo state
Governor Rochas Okorocha might have survived a road accident recently with a
minor scratch to the head but the Chairman of Onicha Local Government Area of
Ebonyi State, Obasi Nwode wasn’t that lucky, he died in a fatal road accident
on Sunday.
According
to reports, Just like
Okorocha, Nwode had been on an official assignment.
He was driving back after
an inspection of some of his projects scheduled to be commissioned by Governor
Martin Elechi during the ongoing ‘Thank You Tour’ to LGAs in the state.
The
accident happened at Nkwagu Military Cantonment, at about 4:30 pm as he drove
his Hilux Van, with registration number: LG 01A NCA.
